Thursday, October 18th is the Feast of St. Luke. To celebrate the patron saint of our school the students may wear blue and gold attire to school on Thursday.
Class News
The students began a new Reading Unit this week. Enclosed in the folder is the new Spelling words and Vocabulary words.
The students will have their normal homework this week and follow the Homework Schedule.
On Tuesday, October 16th the students will be attending The Water Pirates of Netherland Run Aground Assembly at 1:00pm. This assembly helps teach students how to use and conserve water.
Please mark your calendars: Friday, October 26th at 9:00 am is the First Grade Mass. The students will be singing a song. All families are invited to attend the First Grade Mass.
Please remember to sign and review all of your children’s homework. Some papers are being returned unsigned.
School News
St. Luke School will be participating in the Great Shake Out on Thursday, October 18th. It will take place at 10:18 am.
The school is in need of parent/guardians who are Virtus trained and fingerprinted to help with lunch supervision. If you are
interested contact the school office.

On October 31st we will be celebrating Halloween. We will have our Halloween Mini-Carnival in the afternoon. The students may come in costume and wear them all day. Please make sure that the costumes are not scary
