This week is Catholic Schools Week. On Sunday we began our celebration of Catholic Education with a Family Mass, Breakfast, Open House, and a Book Fair. Thank you for attending Sunday’s events and supporting St. Luke Catholic School.
Class News
Due to the many activities scheduled to celebrate Catholic Schools Week the students will only have Math and Oral Reading on Monday and Wednesday and on Thursday they will have Family Times and Oral Reading.
Tuesday, Jan. 29th is Student Appreciation Day. We will be celebrating the children. They have blue and gold wear/Lions wear with jeans and tennis shoes, no homework, and a pizza lunch provided by the school.
Thurs., Jan 31st is Alumni Day and Field Day. In the morning we will have a special assembly to hear from some of our Alumni. In the afternoon the students will have a field day. Students are to wear PE clothes on Thursday.
Friday, Feb. 1st is Family Appreciation Day. Please plan on joining the St. Luke families for 9:00 mass and our annual Family Picnic at 12:00 on the field. Chairs, umbrellas, blankets may be brought for your picnic lunch.
School News
For Family Picnic Day parents should park their cars and pick up their children at noon. Parents will then proceed to the field to have their picnic lunch with their children.
Please remember that there is No Afternoon Day Care on Friday.
