Last Wednesday the children celebrated Halloween by dressing in costumes, participating in the Halloween parade, and attending the Mini-Carnival in the afternoon. Thank you to all the parents who helped make this event a fun filled day for the children. Your help was greatly appreciated.
Class News
This week the children will follow the homework schedule. Spelling words, Vocabulary words, and AR books are enclosed in the folder. AR tests may be taken Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week.
In Social Studies the children will be learning the significance of Veteran’s Day and recognize the brave men and women who have served our country.
STAR testing takes place this week. Please make sure that your children have a good breakfast and arrive to school on time.
The Numero Uno Dine Out is on Tuesday, November 6th. This Fundraiser is to raise funds for the school and to build school community with the St. Luke families. All families are invited to attend.
School News
The Student Council is sponsoring a Canned Food Drive to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Pantry from November 2nd -15th. Each class will be responsible for a specific item. TK- 2nd grade is asked to donate Canned Protein- chicken, fish, and meat.
The Turkey Trot (Walk-a-thon) and Mini- Olympic is on Friday, November 16th. All money is due by November 16th to be eligible for prizes. Also there is a minimum of $25.00 to participate in the Walk-a-thon.
