Advent means “coming” and our celebration of the Advent season is a time for us to wait and get ready for the coming of Jesus. As we enter into the final week of Advent let us continue to take time to pray and prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus Christ.
Class News
In class the students have been learning how to write a friendly letter. In computer class they practiced writing a friendly letter to Santa. Enclosed in the Monday folder is a copy of their letter for you to read.
The homework for this week is as follows;
Mon., Dec 17th - Math
Tues., Dec 18th – No Homework
The first graders are making Gingerbread Houses with their pals. They will be bringing them home this week. They will also be bringing home their wrapped Christmas gift that they have made for you.
The first graders will be singing on Tuesday, December 18th during the school play.
The students are to wear Christmas colors. Santa Hat may also be worn. The students should arrive at school by 6:45pm.
School News
The school is presenting “The Mission” on Tuesday, Dec 18th at 7:00 p.m. Every class is singing at the play. Preferred seats are $10.00 and General Admission is $5.00. Tickets are sold in the school office. Tickets bought at the night of the performance are $7.00.
The students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Wednesday, Dec 19th.
No Day Care is available on Wednesday afternoon. Please make sure that arrangements are made to pick up your children.
