Last week we celebrated Catholic Schools Week. It was a memorable, faith filled week for our students. Thank you for sending your children to St. Luke School and believing in a Catholic education.
Class News
The First Grade Class is in charge of the Hospitality Corner on Sunday, February 10th. Parent volunteers are needed from 8:00 – 12:00 for set up, selling donuts, and clean up. Mrs. Huerta will be sending out an e-mail asking for volunteers.
This is a normal week in the classroom.
The students will follow the Homework Schedule. AR books, Spelling, and the Vocabulary List is enclosed in the folder
February 14th is Valentine’s Day. The
children may exchange Valentine’s Day cards/candy with their friends. Please make sure that your child has a card for every student. There are 9 students in our class

Star Testing takes place from February 4th – February 15th. Please make sure your child is rested and comes to school on time.

The School Family Mass is on Sunday, February 10th at 10:30 am and is hosted by the First Grade Class. The students will be greeters at the door entrances before and after Mass and several of the children will take up the gifts during the Mass. All students are to wear their school uniform and need to be at church by 10:10 am. They are to meet me in front of the lower building corridor I will send them to their assigned door. When Mass is over they will return to their assigned door. After the children are done, parents are asked to pick them up at the door entrances and proceed to the Hospitality Corner for a donut. Every entrance will have a teacher to supervise the children.
